Requirements: Ensuring financial transaction are properly recorded in the general ledger and accounted for in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.

  • Research monthly variances in balance sheet and income statements amounts.

  • Prepare and process journal entries onto the general ledger.

  • Maintain fixed assets sub-ledger in accordance with company policy.

  • Maintain and catalog documentation supporting monthly close (e.g., close binders, journal entry binders, fixed asset binders, etc).

  • Assist in compiling financial data for income tax returns.

  • Assist in fielding requests from auditors.

  • Special projects, as needed. Requirements:

  • Holds a BA/BS Degree in Finance/Accounting, or equivalent.

  • 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
